Pot Luck Pasta

Pot luck meals are made up of whatever you have available in your fridge and pantry.  It's a great way of cleaning out your fridge and using up some staples.

In this recipe, I added the leftover burgers from yesterday, vegetables from the fridge, as well as pasta and a can of tomatoes sitting in the pantry.

There's no rule with pot luck meals.  Just be creative!

Ingredients:
Large Onion
Green Pepper
Red Pepper
Garlic
2 Carrot sticks
2 Celery sticks
Mushrooms
Ground Meat
Tomatoes (can - diced)
Pasta

  1. Saute Onions with green and red peppers.
  2. Add garlic once onions are translucent and the peppers are softened.
  3. Add carrots and celery.
  4. Add mushrooms.
  5. Add tomatoes (canned, sauce, frozen).
  6. Season with Salt & Pepper and stir.
  7. Add leftover meat sitting in your refrigerator (this recipe used the homemade hamburger leftovers from yesterday).
  8. Simmer until everything is cooked.
  9. Toss in a bowl with cooked pasta.
