Pesto Sauce |
As my garden is flourishing with vegetables, my herbs are growing like weed. It's time to start using up some of the fresh basil leaves, so I've decided to make some different recipes with Pesto Sauce. Before I share those recipes, let me show you how I made my pesto sauce using my Kitchen Aide mini chopper.
Note: This sauce will keep refrigerated in a sealed container for about a week. Don't worry if you make too much. The sauce can be frozen in ice cube containers and then transferred to freezer baggies and kept frozen until ready for use.

In a mini chopper or food processor, combine the following and puree:
- 1/4 cup Pine Nuts
- 1/3 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Fresh cracked Pepper to taste
- 1 cup (packed) fresh Basil
- 6 Tbsp grated Pecorino Cheese
Ilove pesto sauce...especially in pasta and with morzeralle cheese...you are lucky that you can grow basil leaves..And I love your pesto sauce recipe..
