Pasta with Sautéed Vegetables
Every once in a while, I crave pasta, but I can't eat it plain. I'm not always in the mood for sauce, so I like mixing it up with some veggies sautéd in butter. YUP! I said butter ... This doesn't happen often, but this is just one of those dishes where nothing else will make do.
INGREDIENTS:
Onion
2 sticks of Celery
2 Carrot sticks
Head of Broccoli (including stems)
Butter
Salt & Pepper, to taste
Cooked Pasta

ReplyDeleteI just realized that I didn't even join in your blog.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering why I wasn't seeing your recipes on my overview page.
This is what I make for my 2 picky eaters,
the difference is I cook both vegetables and pasta in a broth for more flavor.
And they love it!
Looks great Ellen!!!
This isn't the first time I'm hearing this. The secret is to clear your history and cookies. Laurie from Laurie's Cravings was having difficulties opening my page until I suggested she do this. Let's face it, we're writing public blogs with links that can easily attach to our posts. I clear my history everyday.

Great looking sish Ellen. We too love pasta with interesting, non traditional suaces. With the garden giving us lots of zucchini, we recently made this http://areluctantfoodie.blogspot.com/2012/07/summer-pasta-with-fried-zucchini.html
